Clam dip made from cream cheese, chopped clams, garlic, fresh lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and seasoned with salt. Perfect with fresh raw vegetables, or with chips crackers or crsty bread toast slices.
Ingredients -
1 (8 ounces) package Cream Cheese, softened
1 (6 ounces) can Minced Clams, reserve juice
1 small clove Garlic , minced
1/2 teaspoon Fresh Lemon Juice
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
Sea Salt, to taste
Preparation:
1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, clams and enough juice to make a nice dip consistency.
2. Stir in garlic, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and salt.
3. Chill until ready to serve.

You can definitely substitute fresh clams for the canned clams in this recipe. The end result is a much heartier dip.
