Appetizer Tips -
Garlic

Fresh garlic would be a great substitute for the garlic powder. The garlic would add nice flavor and reduce sodium intake. Fresh garlic is available pre-minced in jars at your supermarket. Whole garlic bulbs can be found in the produce section. Look for firm, compact bulbs when buying fresh.

Appetizer Tips -
Unsalted Butter

Unsalted butter is the choice of culinary professionals for cooking, as the absence of salt allows the chef to control the flavor of the finished dish. Unsalted butter generally has a higher percentage of pure butterfat and lower percentage of milk solids and water.
