Garlic Shrimp Tapas

Quick and easy shrimp, garlic and red pepper tapas.
Ingredients -
1/2 pound Pre-cooked Large Shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons Olive Oil
1 tablespoon minced Garlic
1 small Bay Leaf
1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
1 tablespoon minced Fresh Parsley
 
Preparation:

1. Heat olive oil in large saute pan over medium heat.

2. Add garlic, red pepper flakes, and bay leaf.

3. Cook 3 minutes.

4. Add shrimp and heat through.

5. Sprinkle with parsley.

6. Season with salt and pepper.

Large Shrimp
The larger the shrimp, the better. Prawns also work very well. Marinating the shrimp in your favorite citrus for a few hours, prior to using them in this recipe breaks down the shrimp, and allows the garlic and red pepper flavors to infuse into the shrimp.

Red Pepper Flakes
Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes up or down to achieve desired heat in this dish.
